Risks and Constraints of Actual Training
Practicing on elevator control panels crowded with high-voltage electrical equipment involves the risk of accidents, and there are physical constraints in repeatedly operating different equipment by manufacturer at actual sites.

Field-oriented Rescue Simulation
It is designed assuming a situation where a single firefighter performs rescue activities under the worst conditions. You can master the entire process from control panel operation of a stopped MRL elevator to passenger rescue in a safe virtual environment.

SOLUTION :

Emergency Rescue Procedure MR Content Configuration

This content performs core rescue processes such as power cutoff, manual operation switching, and height adjustment through brake release according to each manufacturer's manual. After accurately positioning the elevator car in the Door Zone (DZ) by checking the status of traffic lights and lamps in the control panel, it is configured to experience the entire process of rescuing passengers by opening the elevator door just like in actual practice.

Step-by-step Unlocking Simulation
The first step of unlocking the closed control panel and accessing the internal system is configured identically to the actual process to increase the immersion of the practice.

Initial Safety Measure Guide
Essential safety securing procedures before rescue, such as Power OFF and manual operation mode switching, are provided with visual guides to prevent misoperation.

Real-time Narration and Instructions
Professional narration gives operation instructions step-by-step throughout the entire process, helping even beginner trainees accurately master the initial response procedure.

3. Elevator Door Opening & Passenger Rescue
Once the Door Zone entry is completed, open the closed landing door using the door key. All rescue procedures end with narration checking the internal passenger status and guiding safe evacuation.

Specialized Technology for Elevator Emergency Rescue XR Content076c6ae81c0cf.png1. Manufacturer-specific Rescue System & Interaction
The different control systems and operation methods of the three major domestic elevator companies (Hyundai, Otis, TK) are implemented with precise virtual objects. Manufacturer-specific operation systems, such as Otis's BRB2 dedicated key insertion/maintenance and Hyundai's auxiliary control panel board removal procedure, were placed identically to the actual manual sequence to minimize field discrepancies.

2. Manufacturer-specific Modeling & Readability Optimization
The internal structure of actual elevator control panels has been precisely implemented to enhance visual realism. Components required for actual operation, from control panel locks to main switches, brake release buttons, and detailed levers, were modeled, and high-resolution processing ensures readability so that switch names and guidance text can be clearly identified even in an HMD environment.

Reflecting Unique Operation Systems
Characteristic operations of each company were reproduced, such as maintaining Otis's dedicated key insertion, removing Hyundai's auxiliary control panel board, and TK's brake charge/discharge switch mixed operation.

Placement Based on Actual Manuals
Switch names, breaker positions, and call button cover opening procedures for each manufacturer are configured in the same order as the actual manual.

3. Manufacturer-specific Interaction & Guide System

Control Panel Reflecting Physical Actions
Controller-based interactions required for actual rescue procedures, such as key rotation, breaker switch operation, and brake release, have been applied.

Visual Feedback
Through status changes when operating switches and lamp lights within the control panel, learners can judge the accuracy of their work for themselves.

Real-time Narration Instructions
Professional narration guides the entire process from power cutoff to passenger rescue step-by-step to increase immersion in learning.

4. Device Optimization

Universal Device Optimization
Not only in the color passthrough of Oculus Quest 3 but also in the black-and-white passthrough environment of Oculus Quest 2, operation guides and interaction elements are output in high-visibility colors to maintain consistent educational quality regardless of device specifications.

Features of Elevator Emergency Rescue XR Content

01. Interaction-based Active Practice

Moving away from simple observation-based education, learners internalize the procedure by directly operating everything with the controller, from selecting the manufacturer to unlocking the control panel, cutting power, releasing the brake, and rescuing passengers. Step-by-step professional narration guides are provided so that even beginners can efficiently master the correct response skills.

02. Environment Reflecting Actual Operating Principles

The actual mechanism where the car rises during brake operation depending on the weight relationship with the counterweight when passengers are on board has been applied. In addition, the realism was enhanced by reproducing the drive system where the landing door and car door mechanically combine and open simultaneously when reaching the Door Zone (DZ) level.

03. Hybrid Device and Standalone Environment

Mixed Reality (MR) practice that combines the actual environment and virtual models through Meta Quest 3's color passthrough is supported, and visual information optimized for device characteristics is provided. It is produced in a wireless standalone app format that does not require a PC connection, allowing trainees to freely move along the actual rescue path during training.
