 | INTRO Need for New Promotional Strategies · Lack of Information for Major/School Selection · Uniform Campus Tour Methods When prospective students choose a university, they often make decisions without sufficient information about departments and curricula. With the intensifying competition to attract new students due to a declining school-age population, traditional promotional methods alone are insufficient to effectively convey a department's strengths or educational environment, highlighting the need for differentiated content. Additionally, there is a growing demand for building a forward-looking image through digital technology and developing intuitive, immersive school PR strategies tailored to students' perspectives.

Campus Tour VR Content Structure
The content is designed to enhance immersion in chemistry experiments by allowing users to experience trigger-based interactions at the start, naturally guiding learning. Users check materials one by one to learn their names, review experiment precautions through the user interface (UI), and wear safety equipment. Quizzes are inserted midway to combine theory and practice, enhancing learning outcomes, and two mini-experiments covering the core content of acid-base titration are integrated, allowing users to directly check results and complete them in report form.

Specialized Technologies in Campus Tour VR Content

Based on user-centered design, this content is crafted to allow users to explore spaces and access information in their preferred way. To achieve this, Samwoo Immersion's specialized technologies were applied to provide an active exploration experience beyond simply following a guide.
1. Immersive Experience
All processes and tasks required for the experiment are implemented through trigger-based interactions, enabling users to actively participate. By performing detailed actions such as grabbing and moving volumetric flasks and graduated cylinders, adding reagents, zeroing the balance, and operating the stopcock, users can naturally learn and practice experimental procedures.
2. Non-Linear Scenario
By allowing users to freely choose locations of interest, a user-driven experience structure is implemented. This design serves as a key element in enhancing both the openness and immersion of the campus tour.
3. Free Spatial Movement and Real-Time Interaction
Applying the proprietary standardized framework (IMBuilder-B) for procedural training, XR-based user-centered UI/UX design supports free movement within the campus. Transition effects that simulate entering new spaces enhance immersion and continuity of the experience. Narration and subtitles by the Polytechnics character ‘Poly’ improve understanding of facility learning.
4. Rich Supplementary Materials
Utilizing Unreal Engine's real-time rendering technology, the experimental environment and tools are precisely implemented with high-resolution 3D graphics. Equipment such as burettes, Erlenmeyer flasks, and pipettes are crafted to reflect real sizes and textures, with realistic simulations of liquid movement, light reflection, and material textures, providing an immersive learning environment. Free camera movement and hand manipulation from the user's perspective enable experiences similar to real lab practice, maximizing learning effectiveness and engagement.
