IMXR® Job Training VR Content (Laboratory - General Chemistry: Nylon Synthesis)

Laboratory - General Chemistry: Nylon Synthesis

IMXR® Job Training VR Content

This content allows users to participate in chemistry experiments (nylon synthesis) without restrictions on time or location, offering repetitive and systematic job training education. By simulating realistic virtual environments, it provides vivid visual and auditory effects, enabling users to feel as if they are interacting in a real-world setting.

Features

Real-World Based High-Quality Modeling: Mobile-Based High-Quality Mesh and Texture Optimization

We increase trainees’ sense of immersion through high-resolution modeling based on real-time images, and based on Samwoo Immersion’s patented technology, we create user-centered content by optimizing the delay that occurs when using content.

The procedure follows the same steps as the nylon synthesis process, enhancing the educational effectiveness for trainees.

The procedure unfolds exactly as it would in a real laboratory during nylon synthesis. By experiencing every step and receiving detailed explanations, trainees can expect high educational efficiency and effectiveness.

Immersive Training with Realistic Representations

High-resolution modeling enhances trainee engagement, while Samwoo Immersion's patented technology optimizes latency during content usage, delivering user-centered training content.

Content Structure

1. Learning Objectives and Precautions

  • Ensures users clearly understand the learning objectives before starting VR training.
  • Provides guidance on precautions to be observed during actual experiments.

2. Pre-Experiment Instructions

  • Provides a detailed list of necessary materials to prepare before the experiment.
  • Advises wearing gloves to prevent chemicals from coming into contact with bare hands.

3. Nylon Synthesis Experiment

  1. Dissolve sebacoyl chloride in dichloromethane.
  2. Dissolve hexamethylenediamine, sodium hydroxide, and phenolphthalein indicator in water.
  3. Pour the dissolved liquid into a beaker containing the sebacoyl chloride solution.
  4. Observe the formation of a nylon film at the interface of the solutions.
  5. Separate the nylon film.
  6. Wash and dry the nylon.
  7. Use a forced convection oven for drying.
  8. Measure the weight of the nylon.

4. Precautions

  • Provide guidance on wearing protective gear and proper disposal of synthesized nylon and leftover materials.
  • Inform users not to handle the nylon directly with bare hands.
