① CBT Elevator Training System Workshop and Lesson Plan Planning.
On the first day of the training, the key features of the CBT (Computer-Based Training) based Elevator Training System and the scenario-based learning processes were introduced. The faculty members experienced the system's intuitive UI and learning flow firsthand while engaging with the step-by-step educational content. This provided an opportunity to deeply discuss the changes that the CBT system could bring to elevator training and the factors to consider when planning training curricula.
Additionally, the faculty analyzed the educational effectiveness of the content, examined its practical applicability, and worked together on lesson plan development and curriculum planning to offer a more effective learning experience.
② MR technology demonstration and Samwoo Immersion touring.
On the second day of the training, the latest version of the CBT Elevator Training System, currently in development, was demonstrated. The faculty members explored the newly added features and improved interface, evaluating the system's completeness while performing practical exercises themselves.
Additionally, they shared feedback on ways to further enhance the system’s usability and discussed methods to strengthen field-based practical training.
During the MR (Mixed Reality) technology introduction event, an immersive training solution utilizing mixed reality was showcased. The advantages of MR technology in effectively providing practical environments were emphasized. The president and faculty of KOREA LIFT COLLEGE experienced the MR-based educational content firsthand and expressed great interest in how MR-enhanced training could improve students' learning comprehension and maximize practical experience in a safe environment, recognizing it as an innovative tool for education.
Through this training session, the innovative changes that CBT and MR technology can bring to elevator education and the need to build immersive learning environments were recognized as significant.
