SWXR Campus Contributes to Enhancing Practical Competencies in Education and Training through Understanding and Experiencing XR Technology
SWXR Campus, operated by Samwoo Immersion, successfully conducted the “XR Development Company Field Training” today (August 19) for approximately 20 instructors from Kangwon National University. This training was designed to provide participants with direct understanding and learning of XR technology and AI applications through on-site visits to XR development companies.
During the program, participants visited XR development companies to explore the implementation of XR technology and its real-world industrial applications. They also studied case-based examples of how XR technology can be applied in education and training. In addition, participants experienced a semiconductor 8-step process through XR simulations, gaining firsthand insight into how cutting-edge technologies are applied in practical settings. Participants commented, “It was exciting and enjoyable to understand how the technology is actually applied through direct experience,” highlighting the potential of XR technology in education and training contexts.
This training provided participants with an opportunity to enhance their practical skills and understanding of industry applications by directly experiencing and exploring XR technology. It offered valuable insights into the effective use of XR technology in education and training settings.
SWXR Campus continues to lead in strengthening participants’ digital competencies and field-oriented understanding through active operation of Blender and Unreal Engine certified courses (UATC), as well as XR-based hands-on experience programs and career and safety education initiatives.
