Samwoo Immersion Signs MOU with the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry Busan HRD Institute for Mutual Cooperation in Digital and DX Talent Development

Samwoo Immersion signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry Busan Human Resources Development Institute on October 30 at its Busan headquarters for mutual cooperation in digital and DX (Digital Transformation) talent development.
The signing ceremony was attended by Daehee Kim, CEO of Samwoo Immersion, Hyungjoo Ryu, Director of the KCCI Busan HRD Institute, and Changhyoung Lee, General Manager. The MOU focused on the following areas of cooperation:
Mutual cooperation for the development and utilization of digital education and training content,
Mutual cooperation for talent development using digital technologies, and
Mutual cooperation for the establishment of educational programs applying digital technologies.
During the meeting for mutual collaboration, both organizations held in-depth discussions on cooperative training programs designed to leverage the strengths of each institution.
The KCCI Busan HRD Institute has been leading the cultivation of technically skilled professionals to help resolve local companies’ workforce shortages, particularly by nurturing talent in national key industries and new technology fields related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Samwoo Immersion, based on its outstanding technological capabilities in the XR (Extended Reality) field, develops and supplies XR training content for industrial education. Recently, it has applied these contents to training programs in semiconductors and eco-friendly shipbuilding, thereby contributing to talent development across various sectors of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Starting with this agreement, both organizations agreed to continue their joint efforts not only in development-related fields but also in nurturing professional talent across a wide range of industries, including semiconductors, marine ICT, and eco-friendly shipbuilding.
Samwoo Immersion will continue to actively conduct research and investment in content development for talent cultivation in national key industries and emerging sectors, focusing on XR technology and digital twin platforms.
In particular, based on ongoing initiatives such as the Work-Study Dual Program with Dongseo University, on-site training programs with Busan Software Meister High School, and the Marine ICT Talent Development Project with Tongmyong University, the company plans to actively participate in fostering local talent in Busan through diverse government–industry–academic collaborations.
