Busan Human Resources Development Institute of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry Signs MOU with Samwoo Immersion “Fostering Innovative Talent for Industrial Sites”

The Busan Human Resources Development Institute of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Director Ryu Hyung-joo) announced on October 30 that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Dae-hee) to collaborate on talent development in the fields of digital and DX (Digital Transformation).
The signing ceremony took place at Samwoo Immersion’s headquarters, where key representatives from both organizations gathered to discuss mutual cooperation measures.
Through this agreement, the two institutions will work closely in various areas, including talent development in the DX field, customized practical training programs for the shipbuilding and semiconductor industries, and the establishment of VR-based training environments. In particular, by utilizing VR content that reproduces actual industrial sites in virtual space, trainees can acquire technical skills and gain hands-on experience in a safe and realistic environment.
Director Ryu Hyung-joo of the Busan Human Resources Development Institute stated, “In this era of digital transformation, fostering practical, work-ready talent is more important than ever. We expect that the combination of Samwoo Immersion’s advanced VR technology and our educational expertise will contribute significantly to regional industrial development.”
Samwoo Immersion CEO Kim Dae-hee added, “Through this agreement, we expect to further expand the practical application of VR-based job training in real industrial fields. We will actively contribute to training field-oriented talent needed in Busan’s key industries, such as shipbuilding and semiconductors.”
The Busan Human Resources Development Institute plans to continue expanding its practice-oriented education programs in connection with local industries, further strengthening its role as a leading hub for digital talent development in Busan.
