Hosted by SWXR CAMPUS and organized by SAMWOO IMMERSION, the 'OWLIX IP Creatorathon' will officially begin accepting participant applications starting Monday, April 13th.
This event is designed under the core slogan, "OWLIX UNIVERSE created by SAMWOO IMMERSION! Add your CREATIVE!" It aims to broadly embrace the ideas of the public with quirky imaginationsโnot limited to professional creators in specific fieldsโso that SAMWOO IMMERSION and the participants can collaboratively build the infinite expansion of the OWLIX IP business.
'OWLIX', the centerpiece of this competition, is a character IP developed in-house by SAMWOO IMMERSION. With an owl motif, it is capable of infinite transformations into various professions and concepts, such as a firefighter, chef, or explorer. It serves as SAMWOO IMMERSION's core brand identity, ready to be active across various fields within the upcoming metaverse and XR ecosystem.
Beyond submitting a simple contest entry, participants will gain practical benefits that can be immediately utilized for employment or starting a business. By directly handling the original 3D (FBX) data provided by the company, they can complete high-quality, industry-level practical portfolios. Furthermore, those who advance to the finals will experience an 'IP Pitching Day', where they go beyond simple presentations to directly pitch and sell their ideas in front of the company's executives, thereby gaining vivid, real-world experience as prospective entrepreneurs.
Through this Creatorathon, SAMWOO IMMERSION intends to infuse the quirky and brilliant imagination unique to the participantsโbreaking the company's internal stereotypesโto serve as a new driving force for its character business. There are no restrictions on submission categories, which include AI content, video, webtoons, and merchandise design, and outstanding ideas will be fairly purchased. Selected ideas will be realized into actual IP businesses such as webtoons, merchandise, and short-form content in the future, bringing the participants' imaginations to life as real-world businesses.
This event is open to any creative minds aged 19 or older, participating individually or in teams (up to 4 members). Application submissions will be processed via an online Google Form, and detailed application instructions can be found through the provided registration link.
