On the 24th, a Maritime and Fisheries Equipment Industry-University-Institute Joint Conference was held at the Busan Port Authority, sponsored by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, supervised by the Korea Institute of Marine Science & Technology Promotion, and hosted by the Korea Marine Equipment Research Institute and the Korea Conformity Laboratories. Prior to the conference, Myeong-dal Song, Director of Maritime Policy at the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, visited Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd., a metaverse platform company based on XR total solutions and experienced various contents of Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd., such as VARLOS®, an XR-based digital twin system, and IMXR®, an integrated XR job training solution.

LNGC Cargo Management VR KIT is a solution that allows users to experience LNGC cargo management tasks in virtual reality (VR) based on real-ship based realistic modeling. In addition, the LNG propulsion ship fuel supply and demand simulator and DF engine operation training system provide job procedures such as fuel handling, management, and operation for ships using IGF-based eco-friendly fuel oil, and engine management and emergency response procedures according to DF engine operation.
