Samwoo Immersion successfully completes training to build a state-of-the-art hybrid room at Catholic University of Pusan

Samwoo Immersion, a specialized virtual education and training platform, built a state-of-the-art hybrid room at the Catholic University of Pusan and successfully completed training to efficiently utilize it in department classes. This training was conducted for three days with the participation of the Teaching and Learning Center director and professors from each department.
On the first day, under the theme of 「Use of realistic media (VR, AR) in the field of education」, the latest technology was introduced and theory learning about application in the field of education and training was conducted, focusing on examples of Samwoo Immersion’s educational XR contents. In particular, a case stury based on construction and use cases was conducted and received great attention from professors.
On the second day, we had time to actually experience cases of building MR-based educational environments, including HoloLens, under the theme of 「Education using realistic media (VR, AR)」. Faculty members were able to find ways to actively utilize these technologies in departmental education.
On the third and final day, user guide training was conducted under the theme of 「Hybrid classroom user training」, including guidance on environment configuration for the entire hybrid room, how to set up the initial operation, how to operate content, and how to use the teaching and learning system (instructor). Through this, faculty members improved their understanding of the new educational environment and learned practical ways to utilize it.
Faculty members from various departments, including the Department of Nursing, actively participated in this training, and the XR-based future educational environment is expected to greatly contribute to academic development.
