"Korea Port Training Institute Busan Port Safety Experience Center"... Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd. Establish VR Safety Experience Center and provide VR contents

On the 8th, the opening ceremony of the Port Safety Experience Center was held at the Korea Port Training Institute Busan in Nam-gu, Busan. The Korea Port Training Institute Busan is the only port-specialized education institution in Korea, and since its establishment in 1990, it has been an institution to train port-specialized personnel with the perception that fostering port logistics skills is the cornerstone of improving national competitiveness and port development. It is equipped with competent professors and various practical equipment that combine theory and practice in port operation, including smart port education, and trains about 5,000 port experts every year through systematic education and training centered on the field in a pleasant environment.

Representatives and chairmen from the port sector, including the head of the Busan Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries, the vice chairman of the Korea Port Logistics Association, and the chairman of the Busan Port Transport Workers' Union, attended the opening ceremony of the port safety experience center. The port safety experience center plans to be operated with the aim of "achieving ZERO of fatal accidents by training port people who know the risks and implement safety". In particular, Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd. drew attention by establishing a VR safety experience center located on the second floor and developing educational content. The VR Safety Experience Center establishes a "virtual reality safety education center" for safety education for port workers exposed to dangerous environments to provide VR experience education based on cases of port loading accidents.
