Project Period : September 1, 2024 – September 30, 2024
An augmented reality experience that allows you to view the miniature models of the eight major processes on a single table, with docent guidance and an overview of the key process steps!
Korea Polytechnic University Asan Campus, Semiconductor Process Equipment Miniature MR Content
Korea Polytechnic University Asan Campus is leading the way in utilizing XR (Extended Reality) technology to provide advanced technology education and learning opportunities to students, staff, and the general public. The campus has established an educational environment using the latest virtual reality technology, preparing to offer effective educational services.
This project features MR content that includes miniature versions of the key equipment for the eight major semiconductor processes. The unique aspect of this content is that all eight processes are displayed on a single table, providing an educational experience where semiconductor equipment can be viewed even in confined spaces. Learners can repeatedly train on the overall process procedures of the eight major processes, enhancing their capabilities as semiconductor professionals.
Content
To deliver an immersive MR experience, high-quality 3D modeling is implemented in miniature form, with each equipment's operations vividly animated. Additionally, synchronized docent gestures with explanatory narration further enhance the content's immersive quality, enabling users to naturally understand the processes.

IMXR Semiconductor Job Training Content
In the face of changing industrial paradigms and market fluctuations, the need for next-generation customized educational environments, specifically focused on the eight core processes of semiconductor manufacturing, has become increasingly important.
The IMXR Semiconductor Job Training Content is designed to allow learners to repeatedly and systematically study the key eight processes of semiconductor equipment in a virtual space, unrestricted by time and place. This optimal educational solution eliminates the high costs associated with building training equipment for practical education and the risk of equipment malfunction due to frequent use, enabling learners to improve their skills through repeated practice.
