| Mokpo National University wanted to develop educational content that could teach both theory and practice simultaneously, rather than one-way nursing education in the classroom, through a future-oriented self-regulated learning platform for adult nursing digital textbooks. Samwoo Immersion wanted to contribute to creating an environment where students can learn theory and practice efficiently and repeatedly so that they can adapt to clinical settings without fear of practice. |

Samwoo Immersion presents a new direction for Mokpo National University nursing education theory through the development of a digital textbook
Nursing theory education is conducted in classrooms without real situations. Samwoo Immersion has realized practice-based nursing education through CBT job training content that allows for both adult nursing theory knowledge and practice at the same time, with a ward implemented in a virtual space as the background.
We aim to provide an environment where both theory and practice can be taught simultaneously through practical training using virtual reality (VR), breaking away from the method of learning nursing theory only indoors. Nursing practice using VR technology allows for virtual interaction with actual patients, so it can cultivate not only theoretical knowledge but also technical skills and response abilities required in real situations. Through this, learners can experience theory and practice in an integrated manner, reduce the burden of practice, and maximize the effectiveness of education.

By applying our own standardized Framework (IMBuilder-B) for procedural education and training, we maximize the experience by providing the same interaction as the actual nursing procedure through XR-based user-centered UI&UX design. We increase the learner's understanding of the nursing process procedure through narration, subtitles, theoretical explanation of the nursing process, and immediate feedback.
It is possible to develop scenarios in which cases of other diseases are added with the same structure, ensuring future content expandability.
