Since being selected for the “Advanced Industry Talent Development Bootcamp Project” last year, Dong-Eui University has been actively developing industry-academia linked curricula. In line with Busan Metropolitan City’s strategy to foster a power semiconductor cluster, the university is accelerating efforts to nurture talent as a regional hub.
To help students grow into trusted professionals in the industrial field, the university provides industry-tailored education that fosters both practical skills and problem-solving abilities.
With the introduction of Samwoo Immersion’s XR content for semiconductor job training, students can now experience the basic processes of certain semiconductor procedures even in a regular classroom setting.
Most notably, theoretical and practical training can be conducted simultaneously, creating an environment where students can take a more active role in their learning.
Furthermore, the content enables repeated practice, which enhances comprehension and serves as a training tool to improve on-site adaptability.

Drawing on its extensive portfolio built through supplying various educational institutions, Samwoo Immersion has been able to develop VR training content that meets both the demands of real-world workplaces and the objectives of its clients' projects.

To help learners intuitively understand the core processes of semiconductor manufacturing, we developed 13 types of VR and MR content reflecting the actual industrial workflow. Key processes such as photolithography, etching, deposition & ion implantation, EDS analysis, and cleaning were selected and structured to provide both theoretical education and hands-on immersive experience.
