“Through real-time interaction with AI students, pre-service teachers strengthen their communication and instructional skills.”
Developed by Samwoo Immersion and BNUE, the “1st TSR Pilot” was designed to meet the growing need to effectively assess and improve pre-service teachers’ instructional abilities. It addresses the lack of systems that allow comprehensive evaluation of teaching, communication, and problem-solving competencies beyond real classroom limitations.
Pre-service teachers wear a VR HMD (Oculus Quest 3) to teach AI students in a virtual classroom. Meanwhile, evaluators use a PC web portal to configure class content, AI question types, and evaluation criteria, monitor in real time, and review the generated reports.

03. Web management system for evaluators: Professors can create sessions, upload materials, set AI question types, define criteria, monitor progress, and access detailed AI evaluation reports.

Immersion Strategy
The “1st TSR Pilot” was successfully implemented at BNUE’s Glocal University Future Teacher Training Project, proving its value as an innovative tool to enhance pre-service teachers’ instructional competence.
Based on this success, Samwoo Immersion plans expansion to other education universities, teacher retraining, and communication training programs aiming to lead the next-generation education market where AI and XR converge.
We will continue refining AI student models and adding diverse real-world scenarios to advance future learning environments and elevate the quality of teacher education.
