PROJECT GOAL

Students often face limitations in accessing practical, detailed career information during the career decision-making process, and providing real-world on-site experiences is realistically difficult. Samwoo Immersion delivered career-exploration VR content to the Software Department at Busan Computer Science High School, enabling students to experience a wide range of real job environments in virtual reality and explore their major interests and aptitude through hands-on immersion.

“We are highly satisfied that VR has broadened opportunities for career exploration.”

Through exploring multiple careers together, we expect a positive impact where students can vividly sense their aptitude and interests. It is especially engaging that students can choose and experience careers beyond their current major—such as ward nurse, semiconductor process engineer, and navigator and explore their future paths through hands-on immersion. With a variety of VR content, students can envision their future more concretely, and this experience can become a valuable asset that provides practical direction for career planning.

Overview

A Career-Exploration Space Powered by VR and Software Creation Skills

We built a VR-based career exploration environment to help Busan Computer Science High School students understand real industrial settings more vividly. Students can directly see how the technologies and knowledge they learn translate into real tasks, outputs, and outcomes in industry. The program offers scenario-based experiences that help students understand workflows across diverse occupations, enabling safe and efficient exploration of the professional world. This project aims to provide a foundation for students to design their career paths and explore proactively on their own.

Immersion Strategy

The core strategy of this project is to provide an environment where students can learn how their acquired skills and knowledge connect to real jobs, while also experiencing future careers in a virtual space. By experiencing the tangible outcomes of classroom concepts through VR, students can clearly feel how what they learn becomes real-world results and is applied in actual industries. This helps students understand the value and applicability of their learning more deeply and explore future career options from a broader perspective.

In addition, we deliver professional-grade VR content used in real markets to educational settings, helping students experience a high level of technical completeness firsthand. Furthermore, students can gain a broader understanding of industry trends and technology directions and build a foundation to proactively choose the field that fits them best. Samwoo Immersion aims to expand the depth of education while making a practical contribution to developing future industry talent.

IMXR Immersive VR Content – Specialized Technologies Structure

1. Job-Specific Virtual Environment Development

We carefully analyzed the characteristics and workflows of each occupation to implement virtual environments that closely reflect real workplaces. Using high-precision 3D scanning, photogrammetry, and physically based rendering (PBR), we recreated spatial structures, professional equipment, and working routes with high fidelity. By setting environments similar to real sites, the experience is designed to help participants understand roles and tasks more realistically and immerse themselves deeply.

2. Field-Centered Scenario Design

We structured experiential scenarios around the essential tasks and daily routines of each profession. The content is designed to let participants practice real procedures and appropriate responses required in the workplace. To encourage engagement and natural understanding, we also introduced simple quizzes and missions that fit each occupation’s characteristics.

3. Interaction and Animation Implementation

We created an immersive experience with an intuitive user interaction system and natural character animation. Participants can perform diverse actions commonly required in real work situations operating equipment, moving objects, pressing buttons, and using tools through direct interaction. Realistic character movement, situation-based reaction animations, and feedback effects amplify a sense of presence. Dynamic interaction elements that respond in real time to user choices and actions support active participation and improved learning outcomes.
