The 2022 Korea-ASEAN XR training program was held for 5 days and 4 nights from November 28th. Hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, Busan City, and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, this program aims to develop the XR·Metaverse industry in Korea and ASEAN, derive concrete cooperation measures to lay the foundation for joint growth, and enhance understanding of technology.
On the 29th, the second day of the program, as part of a company visit, ASEAN officials in the ICT/culture/tourism field visited Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd., a representative XR·Metaverse company in Korea. The countries that participated in this program are Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Nepal, etc., and the officials experienced various contents such as Beyond-Link, Samwoo Immersion's metaverse platform, IMXR, an XR integrated solution for job training, and VARLOS, a digital twin system using location-based technology.
