SWXR Campus, from company visits to creative production… Busan University of Foreign Studies students embrace XR·AI integrated learning
Samwoo Immersion’s SWXR Campus hosted an XR·AI corporate exploration program on September 12 for 24 students from Busan University of Foreign Studies. Going beyond traditional lectures, the program combined expert talks, a VR moon exploration experience, and team-based 3D pen creative activities, offering students an engaging and immersive learning experience.
The program began with a company introduction and an XR·AI special lecture, covering real-world applications of convergence technologies, diverse departmental roles within companies, and the competencies sought in recruitment processes. Students gained valuable insights into the latest industry trends and workplace practices rarely accessible in the classroom, providing meaningful guidance for their career paths and academic choices.
During the hands-on activities, students experienced a virtual space expedition through a VR moon exploration program. They then engaged in team-based 3D pen activities, including planning, designing, and creating, allowing them to transform their ideas into tangible results. Through this process, students developed not only technical skills but also collaboration, creative problem-solving, and project planning abilities.
One participant shared, “Experiencing a moon exploration in VR felt like I was truly in space. The process of completing a project with my teammates using 3D pens was the most memorable part.” A university representative added, “This program, which combined corporate exploration with creative production activities, offered students more than just entertainment—it significantly supported their career exploration and boosted their motivation to learn.”
SWXR Campus plans to continue expanding XR·AI-based career exploration, safety education, and emerging technology programs to inspire youth and university students with a deeper understanding of future industries and a spirit of innovation. The center also aims to contribute to nurturing next-generation talent by providing ongoing convergence education across advanced fields such as robotics, drones, and AI.
