SWXR Campus, with over 20 teachers and education officials participating… offering hologram, VR moon exploration, and MR semiconductor process experiences
Samwoo Immersion’s SWXR Campus successfully hosted an XR·AI convergence training program on September 13 for more than 20 teachers and education officials from the Jeonnam Hwasun Office of Education. The training aimed to provide educators with hands-on experience of cutting-edge digital technologies and to explore ideas for applying them in the classroom.
The program began with an introduction to the company and a special lecture on AI and XR. The session covered how XR and AI are being applied in education and industry, as well as the future direction of education. Participants gained practical case studies and insights that can be directly applied to classroom instruction and career education.
The hands-on program featured a hologram demonstration, a VR lunar exploration experience, and MR-based semiconductor “8 core process” content. Teachers directly experienced the potential and effectiveness of immersive educational tools, with the MR semiconductor process content in particular receiving positive feedback as “a valuable resource to help students easily understand abstract processes.”
One participating teacher remarked, “Through VR and MR technologies, I realized that even complex concepts can be explained intuitively, which makes them highly effective for education. It gave me a chance to reflect on how to integrate them into my classes.” An official from the Office of Education also commented, “This training went beyond a simple technology experience; it was an opportunity to explore the future direction of education and the possibilities for classroom innovation.”
SWXR Campus announced its commitment to expanding XR·AI-based training and convergence education programs for teachers and education professionals, further strengthening digital lesson design capabilities and enhancing students’ understanding of future industries.
