SWXR Campus Provides Youth with Industry Insights and Career Exploration Opportunities through XR-Based Lectures and Experiences
Samwoo Immersion’s SWXR CAMPUS successfully conducted the “Employment Sharing University AI Practical Skill-Up Camp” program on September 30, targeting around 15 students from the Busan-Ulsan (Bu-Ul) community college consortium. As part of the Community College Innovation Support Project, this program aimed to provide youth with hands-on experience in advanced industries and XR technologies, supporting both practical skill development and career exploration.
The training included an introduction to XR technology concepts and industry applications, a presentation on Samwoo Immersion and its XR solutions, a VR space exploration experience, hands-on practice with a miniature of the eight major semiconductor processes, and a VR-based semiconductor process simulation. Through XR, students were able to intuitively grasp complex processes and gain immersive learning experiences that are difficult to achieve through textbooks or videos.
In particular, the hand-tracking interaction and immersive space exploration VR content—featuring an astronaut—sparked strong engagement and excitement. One participant commented, “It really felt like I was in outer space.”

Participants shared positive feedback such as, “Experiencing space exploration and semiconductor processes through XR made everything much easier to understand,” and “The combination of company introduction and XR experience was very helpful for both career exploration and job preparation.” The session also featured active Q&A on the educational applications of XR technology and the future outlook of advanced industries.
SWXR CAMPUS plans to continue expanding customized programs in connection with the Employment Sharing University Camp and the Community College Innovation Support Project. By leveraging XR experience equipment and content, it aims to enhance young people’s understanding of real-world industries while strengthening their employment competitiveness.
