Future Talent Development Center SWXR Campus Expands Youth Career Competencies and Industry Understanding through XR Lecture and Q&A
SWXR Campus, operated by Samwoo Immersion, successfully conducted a special career lecture on September 29 for first-year students at Busan Haegang Middle School, hosted by the Dream Nuri Haeundae Career Center’s “Kkumderi Career Program.” This lecture was designed to introduce students to XR technology and the world of future careers, helping them envision their potential career paths more concretely.
The session covered the concept and applications of XR technology, XR-related professions and roles, as well as strategies for portfolio preparation and career planning. While most students were encountering XR for the first time, the instructor emphasized that “creating a single XR content requires various professions, and fundamental subjects such as Korean, English, Math, Social Studies, and Science are also essential.” This practical advice helped deepen students’ understanding while sparking their curiosity and interest.

Even during the break, some students continued asking additional questions about AR and MR, showing a strong interest, while Q&A remained active throughout the lecture. Participating students shared their thoughts, saying, “I realized for the first time that XR technology is not just about games or videos but can be connected to many different careers,” and “I didn’t know how important portfolio preparation and fundamental studies are, but this will greatly help me in planning my future career.”
SWXR Campus plans to continue expanding XR lectures and career-linked programs for youth, supporting students in strengthening their understanding of industries and developing their career exploration skills.
