SWXR Campus Hosts 38 Students and Teachers from Semyung Computer High School for XR·AI Company Exploration and MR Experience
On September 5, SWXR Campus, operated by Samwoo Immersion, hosted an XR·AI company exploration program for 31 students and 7 teachers from Semyung Computer High School. This program went beyond a simple experience by combining a company tour, expert lecture, and immersive content activities, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of the XR·AI industry and future career paths.
Prior to the hands-on activities, an introductory session and a lecture on development were conducted, covering Samwoo Immersion’s XR·AI convergence technologies, real-world development cases, and the competencies required in future industries. Through this, students were able to hear first-hand about cutting-edge technology development and company practices not typically found in textbooks, providing practical insights for their future career planning.
In the main program, students experienced a submarine MR device along with Beyond Earth (an upcoming IMXR immersive MR content), which received an enthusiastic response. Beyond Earth is themed around humanity’s journey beyond Earth into space, reimagining human history as a story of curiosity and bold challenges that have continuously driven progress. Students immersed themselves in the process of space exploration, gaining a direct understanding of how curiosity and the spirit of challenge have fueled technological advancement.
Teachers praised the program, stating, “By combining a company tour with hands-on technology experiences, this program offered significant educational value beyond simple interest.” Students also expressed high satisfaction, commenting, “It was fascinating to experience XR content for the first time,” and “It was impressive to feel the challenge of venturing into space firsthand.”
SWXR Campus will continue to inspire students’ understanding of future industries and their spirit of challenge through XR·AI-based career experiences, safety education, and technology exploration programs. Furthermore, it plans to expand fusion education connected with cutting-edge fields such as robotics, drones, and AI, contributing to the development of the next generation of future-ready talents.
