Samwoo Immersion Hosts Hands-on XR Content Development Program for Unemployed Youth as Part of the 2025 Future Tomorrow Work Experience Project
On May 20, as part of the '2025 Future Tomorrow Work Experience Project' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, a hands-on corporate field trip program focused on XR content development was successfully held for unemployed youth participating in the Youth Challenge Support Project and the WE'NEED Campus of the Busan Economic Promotion Agency.
The program was designed to provide participants with direct experience in the practical field of XR (Extended Reality) content, a key next-generation industry. Expert lectures enhanced participants’ understanding of the industry, and detailed explanations were given on the planning, production, and implementation of XR content. Real case studies from Samwoo Immersion’s ongoing projects were also shared, attracting high levels of interest and engagement from attendees.
Samwoo Immersion, a company that has long been at the forefront of immersive content development using XR technology, offers AR and VR solutions across sectors such as education, industry, and culture, and continues to contribute to the expansion of the XR ecosystem. A representative from the company said, “We hope this program helped unemployed youth gain a deeper understanding of the XR industry, explore their career paths, and better prepare for employment. We will continue providing hands-on work experience programs that connect the industry with emerging talent.”
This program was part of the XR content development field visit track under the Future Tomorrow Work Experience Project, jointly carried out by the Youth Challenge Support Project and the WE'NEED Campus, and further practical field trips in collaboration with other companies are scheduled in the near future.
