Future Talent Development Center SWXR CAMPUS Conducts Unreal Engine Basic Training Program – Experiencing XR Development Principles by Creating a Digital Clock with Blueprints

SWXR CAMPUS, operated by Samwoo Immersion, successfully conducted a “Basic Unreal Engine Education Program” on October 29 for a total of 18 students from Geumjeong Girls’ High School and ChungRyeol High School. The program was designed to allow high school students to directly use Unreal Engine, a key development tool for XR content, and to understand the principles of digital content creation.

The 2-hour program was conducted for students who had already acquired basic programming knowledge (Python). During the session, students used Blueprints to create a digital clock and learned the fundamentals of character animation. By leveraging Unreal Engine’s visual scripting system, Blueprints, students could produce creative results without needing to understand complex code, which sparked their interest and engagement.


Unreal Engine is a next-generation 3D creation tool used worldwide across gaming, film, the metaverse, simulations, and industrial design, recognized as a core technology for digital literacy in modern industries. This experience went beyond a simple coding class, allowing students to directly engage in XR creation and realize that “the digital world is not just observed—it is made.” Additionally, the Blueprint-based lessons enabled students to develop both logical thinking and creative problem-solving skills without relying on complex programming languages, highlighting the educational value of the program.

In educational settings, Unreal Engine is emerging as the “language of the future classroom,” stimulating both creative expression and logical thinking. Participating students responded positively, saying, “It was fun because I could see the results without coding,” “The class felt like learning through a game, so I could concentrate well,” and “I want to learn more Unreal Engine to create my own content.” This introductory Unreal Engine program was designed to help young learners experience the technical foundations of future industries and explore their career paths.

SWXR CAMPUS will continue to expand hands-on educational programs focused on XR, AI, and 3D content creation, enabling students to grow from “learners who understand technology” into “creators who make technology.”
