On the 26th, Samwoo Immersion held an opening ceremony for SWXR CAMPUS 1st Training Center, ‘the world’s first XR-based job training & talent nurturing center’. This opening ceremony was attended by local officials and industry experts, showing enthusiastic interest and support for the education and experience of future generations.
CEO David Kim thanked everyone who attended and emphasized the importance of education and experience that the newly opened first training center will bring. In addition, the head of Save the Children's Busan Southern Regional Headquarters expressed her expectations for the positive impact that SWXR CAMPUS 1st Training Center will have on the local community through her congratulatory speech.
At this opening ceremony, a business agreement was signed between Samwoo Immersion and Save the Children, which attracted attention. Samwoo Immersion signed an agreement with Save the Children to 'sponsor a project to support children from low-income families' and decided to carry out various activities targeting low-income families in the community who need VR education.
The opening ceremony of the SWXR CAMPUS 1st Training Center was a meaningful event in that it solidified Samwoo Emersion's role as a leading educational institution for the future and opened a new horizon for local community and industrial development. In the future, SWXR CAMPUS will provide local youth with experiences and educational opportunities using XR technology through SWXR CAMPUS 1st and 2nd Training Center located in Dong-gu, Busan, and Busan Geumjeong Center located in Geumjeong-gu, Busan.
