SWXR Campus strengthens trainees’ capabilities through hands-on learning and exposure to global Unreal Engine development trends
Samwoo Immersion’s SWXR Campus, which aims to foster practical talent in the XR metaverse industry, participated in Unreal Fest Seoul 2025 on Monday, August 25, together with trainees from its “Unreal Engine-based VR Content Production Course” as part of the 9th on-site learning session.
This course is part of the “XR-based Metaverse Professional Training Program” conducted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), and hosted by the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency in collaboration with SWXR Campus. The field trip was organized to give trainees the opportunity to directly explore the latest Unreal Engine technology trends and to network with global developers.

The trainees traveled to the venue by chartered express bus and attended the Unreal Engine presentation sessions, where they learned about the latest engine features and applications in the XR and metaverse fields. They also visited the Samwoo Immersion booth, where they explored cutting-edge development solutions and interactive content, gaining firsthand insight into how Unreal Engine is applied in real industry settings. In post-event interviews, participants shared their impressions: “It was vivid and valuable to see and experience technologies we had only encountered through books or lectures,” and “I gained a lot of inspiration for future project development.”

Currently, the “Unreal Engine-based VR Content Production Program” is approaching its final 10th session. Participants are preparing to present their final projects, which they have planned and developed based on the skills acquired throughout the course. Through this process, they will complete practical, industry-focused portfolios, marking the conclusion of the program.
Looking ahead, SWXR Campus will continue to lead the way in strengthening participants’ adaptability to industry environments and enhancing their practical development capabilities through hands-on XR and metaverse education programs combined with diverse field experiences.
