SWXR Campus, Busan’s First Official Unreal Engine Certified Training Institution! Launches Free VR Content Creation Course Using Unreal Engine
Samwoo Immersion’s SWXR Campus officially launched the “Unreal Engine-Based VR Content Creation Course” on August 1, 2025, marking the start of a 10-session, project-based training program aimed at cultivating practical talent in the XR metaverse industry.
This training is part of the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA)’s “XR-Based Metaverse Professional Workforce Development” initiative. It is a public-private collaborative program operated by SWXR Campus and hosted by the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, focusing on strengthening participants’ practical project execution skills in the XR and metaverse fields. The program is conducted by certified Unreal Engine instructors (UAI) and awards certificates issued under the authority of the official Unreal Authorized Training Center (UATC), ensuring a credible and high-quality educational experience.
Enrollment, which began on July 16, quickly filled each session’s limited quota of around 20 participants, attracting wide interest from job seekers, working professionals, and university students alike.

The first session focused on "Understanding Unreal Engine and Setting Up the VR Development Environment." Participants strengthened their practical content creation skills through hands-on lessons covering everything from familiarizing themselves with the Unreal Engine interface to configuring VR environments, creating projects, and managing controls.

Additionally, on August 25th, all participants will officially attend ‘Unreal Fest Seoul 2025,’ the largest Unreal Engine technology conference in Korea, with full coverage of registration and transportation costs.
SWXR Campus stated, “This course provides systematic training in practical VR skills based on Unreal Engine and will be especially valuable for those preparing for careers in emerging industries such as the metaverse, digital twins, and immersive content.
