SWXR Campus Conducts Hands-On Next-Generation Content Creation Training for Game Engineering Majors
Operated by Samwoo Immersion, SWXR Campus successfully conducted a specialized Unreal Engine training program for students in the Game Engineering Department at Tongmyong University from August 8 to 12. This hands-on, project-based course focused on enhancing practical development skills in the game and XR fields by leveraging Unreal Engine — a core technology of the next-generation content industry.
The program systematically covered key techniques required for game and interactive content development using Unreal Engine 5, including widget UI creation, advanced material and texture usage, post-process effect implementation, and MetaSound applications. The practical, hands-on curriculum significantly boosted both student engagement and satisfaction.

The training was conducted over five days, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM each day, and was designed for a select group of participants, providing personalized feedback and 1:1 hands-on support. With a practical focus on enhancing visual expression techniques and graph-based thinking skills, the course offered participants the opportunity to experience and apply various cutting-edge features of Unreal Engine in their own projects. According to the post-course satisfaction survey, the program received a high overall satisfaction score of 93.94, reflecting strong positive feedback from participants.
Since becoming Korea’s first Unreal Authorized Training Center (UATC) in 2024, Samwoo Immersion, which operates the SWXR Campus, has continued to expand its industry-tailored Unreal Engine training programs. These include collaborations with the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency’s Metaverse Campus, Hyundai AutoEver’s Smart Factory Employment-Linked Program, and more.
Going forward, SWXR Campus aims to proactively respond to the technological demands of the broader content industry by offering immersive, field-oriented training programs designed to cultivate practical Unreal Engine talent.
