SWXR Campus Contributes to Adapting to Job Changes from Departmental and Curriculum Reforms and Enhancing Teacher Competencies
Samwoo Immersion’s SWXR Campus successfully conducted the “Small-Group Industry Training” Blender course for teachers at Busan Seyeon High School from August 11 to 14. This training program, organized by the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, aimed to enhance the professional expertise of vocational high school teachers and focused on improving teachers’ adaptability to changes in the industrial field through practical job training.
The course featured active 3D modelers from the industry as instructors, providing real-world Blender use cases and workflows. The project-based, hands-on training was designed to help teachers strengthen their practical skills and adapt to evolving industry demands. Participating teachers engaged directly in exercises, exploring Blender’s features and learning how to apply them in real-world industrial contexts. Post-training surveys showed that most teachers were highly satisfied with both the content and hands-on experience, particularly valuing the practical case studies and direct production exercises as useful resources and ideas they could immediately apply in their classrooms.
In addition to Blender training, SWXR Campus—recognized as Korea’s first official Unreal Engine Training Center (UATC) in 2024—actively operates Unreal Engine courses and XR content-based career and safety education programs for students.
