The Department of Visual Design at Silla University (President Heo Nam-sik) announced on the 12th that two out of four students who participated in Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd.’s ‘SWXR SCHOOL Recruitment-Linked Unreal Engine Developer Training Program’ were confirmed to be employed.
The Department of Visual Design at Silla University participated in the 'SWXR SCHOOL Recruitment-Linked Unreal Engine Developer Training Program', an educational program conducted by Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd. from February 1 to March 8 to train and hire practical Unreal Engine developers. Four students in the department completed the final course.
For the purpose of nurturing excellent talent in the Unreal Engine field, intensive theoretical and practical training, including △orientation, △expert lectures, △IMXR content experience, and △project practice, was conducted for 8 hours a day for approximately 1 month. Among those who completed the course, employment opportunities were provided to those who received excellent evaluations and Silla University students Jae-heon Son and Bo-yeon Park achieved the feat of being recruited.
David Kim, CEO of Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd., said, “I am grateful and proud that every student came to the end despite the difficult curriculum where they could be dropped if they do not meet the evaluation standards through the mid-term evaluation.” He added, “All courses will produce good results in the future.” “I believe it will emerge,” he said, expressing his gratitude.
Jae-heon Son and Bo-yeon Park, students of the Department of Visual Design at Silla University, who completed this training and were hired by Samwoo Impression Co., Ltd., said, “I think they hired me because they saw the potential for development rather than because I did well during the training period,” and added, “After joining the company, I learned and worked hard to develop.” “I will show you,”
