Korea Marine Equipment Research Institute (KOMERI) signed a business agreement (MOU) on the 7th to promote cooperation in the regional innovation cluster development (R&D) project jointly with Busan Port Terminal Corp., Korea Marine Equipment Research Institute, Lab O21, and Samwoo Immersion.

The regional innovation cluster development project aims to develop related industries as well as develop digital twinization of ports and carbon-neutral technologies through the mutual growth of the maritime industry linked to the maritime ICT convergence industry and close cooperation between each organization.

Samwoo Immersion develops a digital twin-based smart port and ship carbon management platform. KOMERI plans to develop Eco-Smart shipping port platform technology.

Through this business agreement, we plan to query each institution and company about research and technology development in their areas of expertise.
