AI-based ship collision prevention system (AI-MASTER) 



Based on AI applied with ship collision detection and avoidance algorithm,
It is a system that can recognize and judge collisions
between fishing boats and coastal small ships.

The degree of collision risk is quantitatively expressed by considering the relative distance between the own ship and the obstacle, the approach speed of the obstacle, and the relative angle of the obstacle, but the effect of the size of the vessel is not considered in this formula. 


Development of navigation risk assessment model system

In order to calculate the risk index, we have developed a navigation risk assessment model that quantitatively indexes the effects of the size and speed of own ships by combining the dynamic ship area and collision risk assessment formula. In other words, the system was developed based on the navigation risk assessment model that combines the collision risk assessment formula , which has already been proven reliable through several studies,  and the dynamic ship domain .


The Mediator Pattern is applied to encapsulate the complex logic between all classes, and it is designed to reduce the complexity from the M:M relationship to the M:1 relationship, which is delegated to one class for processing, and is designed to be advantageous for the extensibility of maintenance and reuse.
