Samwoo Immersion conducts 『Marine Engine VR Major Experience』 for the Division of Marine Mechatronics at Mokpo National Maritime University
On the 15th, Samwoo Immersion operated the 『Marine Engine VR Major Experience』, a detailed program of the 2023 Mokpo National Maritime University Development Project ‘2023 Mecha Run to Strengthen Major and Employment Capabilities’, at the Future Convergence Hall of Mokpo National Maritime University. This program, aimed at first-year students in the Division of Marine Mechatronics, provides first-year students who take classes focusing on theory and liberal arts to indirectly experience a VR major experience related to ships, giving them time to increase their understanding of the job and the necessary capabilities.
This program, which was held for 3 hours each in the morning and afternoon, was conducted in the following order: △training for watching educational videos related to marine diesel engines, △training for replacing high-voltage equipment, and △training for launching lifeboats. It was designed to train high-level maritime personnel and key engineers in the industrial field. It was evaluated that the lecture was suited to the characteristics of the targeted department.
