FGSS Familiarizer is a CBT program for the education/training of FGSS (Fuel Gas Supply System) and DF Engine (Duel Fuel Engin) of LNG-powered ships. Through the FGSS Familiarizer, trainees can be educated through self-directed learning on the structure and functions of LNG propulsion vessels and major facilities in a virtual space within the LNG propulsion vessel. The vessel of this program is a vessel converted from a 4,000TEU container carrier into a DF engine according to the IGF code, and the main equipment of the bunkering manifold, FGSS room, Type C LNG fuel tank, and DF engine is realistically simulated.
Through this CBT program, trainees can learn the specific structure and function of an LNG-powered vessel in advance before boarding an LNG-powered vessel, thereby improving vessel adaptation and training effects and shortening the training period.
