On the 13th, Daelim University College (President Hwang Woon-kwang) signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd. to develop and operate VR educational content in the field of next-generation semiconductors. The agreement ceremony was held in conjunction with the opening event of the semiconductor VR lab and semiconductor clean room, which were built through a support project for leading colleges specializing in new industries supported by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea, and participants from both organizations, including Daelim University College President Hwang Woon-kwang and Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd. General Manager Kim Jin-kyung, Officials attended.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to carry out various cooperation, including joint development of VR educational content in the semiconductor field, focusing on the next-generation semiconductor equipment field. Daelim University College is expected to use its existing semiconductor VR lab to nurture next-generation semiconductor technical talent and to demonstrate, evaluate, and operate VR educational content jointly developed with industry, thereby fostering active cooperation for effective content development.

President Woon-kwang Hwang said at the agreement ceremony, “Through the agreement with Samwoo Immersion, which has excellent VR content development technology, it is an opportunity to establish a cooperation system that can increase the satisfaction of students and industry by developing VR educational content to foster semiconductor specialized talent required by industry.
