KoELSA (Korea Elevator Safety Agency) has taken active steps to nurture elevator engineers equipped with future technology, addressing the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
On October 29, KoELSA signed a “MOU for the Advancement of the Elevator Mixed Reality Education Platform” with Korea Elevator College and Samwoo Immersion to develop elevator training content using CBT and VR technologies to foster future talent in elevator technology.

According to the MOU, KoELSA will provide elevator safety-related information and technology. Korea Elevator College will be responsible for the development and operation of educational content and programs. Samwoo Immersion, a private company, will produce educational content utilizing 4th industrial technologies.
This collaboration aims to create elevator engineer training content that incorporates 4th industrial technologies, covering 10 types of elevator components, including 3 types of rope elevators, 2 types of hydraulic elevators, and 5 types of escalators, each with replacement and installation scenarios.
