The Busan National Innovation Cluster is overseen by the city of Busan, and the Busan Technopark Busan National Innovation Convergence Complex Promotion Team (Director Kim Yeong-bu, Busan TP Policy Planning Director) conducts business attraction, business-to-business networking, global cooperation, strengthening of planning and commercialization capabilities, and establishment and management of cluster fostering plans.

Samwoo Immersion (CEO Kim Dae-hee) carried out the task of 'developing immersive augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) contents for ship remote maintenance and safety education' in the Busan National Innovation Cluster Fostering (R&D) project, and ship management and safety successfully developed AR/VR contents for education.

Samwoo Immersion utilizes this contents as the core education and training program of its own open lab 'SWXR CAMPUS'. Samwoo Immersion plans to develop an extended reality (XR) job training service based on contents and provide training services to domestic and foreign shipping companies, ship management companies, and educational institutions.

CEO Kim Dae-hee said, “With government support, we have developed a world-class AR/VR-based ship maintenance job training solution.” and “We will be able to create a new education market as well as provide educational services necessary for cutting-edge ships such as smart ships and autonomous ships.”
