Work-to-Run (Work2Learn. W2L) Semester is a Waterloo-type co-op program linked to local, intellectual-industrial-academic employment (recruitment) that fosters local talents who have both theoretical and practical capabilities through practical field experience (recognition of credits) for several months following university theoretical education.

A total of 15 students from Tongmyong University achieved results in the Work2Learn semester pilot project, which was conducted from early September to late November last year, and recently received a total of 16 credits each. In response, Busan City decided to implement this as a main project rather than a pilot project in 2023.
