Chungcheongbuk-do, Chungju City, and the Chungbuk Innovation Institute of Science & Technology held a “Technology Exchange Meeting for Digital Transformation of Materials, Parts and Equipment Industries” at the Grand Plaza Hotel in Cheongju on the 8th.
This event, hosted by Chungcheongbuk-do and Chungju City and supervised by Chungbuk Innovation Institute of Science & Technology, promotes digital transformation of the traditional manufacturing industry through technological exchanges between materials, parts, and equipment companies in the province and XR (mixed reality), AI (artificial intelligence), and IoT (Internet of Things) companies. It was held as an opportunity to lay the groundwork for conversion and inter-industry convergence and diffusion.
About 80 executives and staff from Chungbuk Innovation Institute of Science & Technology and related companies in the province attended the event, and the event was held in great success.
The main programs of the day included special lectures by experts on XR (mixed reality) and digital twin technology, announcement of the progress of the 1st and 2nd year digital twin R&D projects, which are part of the project to build an XR demonstration complex in connection with materials, parts, and equipment industries being promoted by Chungbuk National Institute of Science and Technology (IST). , XR platform exhibition booth operation, etc.
