[Global Economics 18.12.04.] Shipbuilding industry parts and equipment companies hold a workshop for overcoming crisis
The Korea Shipbuilding & Marine Equipment Research Institute (KOMERI) announced on the 4th that it held a general workshop to discuss the implementation of the support project to overcome the crisis of the shipbuilding industry parts and equipment companies on the 29th and 30th of last month.
On this day's workshop, Lee Marine, Samwoo Immersion, Samgeon Century, Mirae Industries, Fluen, Gideuk Industrial, IM Soft, e-Tech, Sejin Chemical, DHMC, Seongil Ncare, Woomin Technology, Sebotech, Next Form, Daemyung Elevator, and Daemyung Elevator , Marines, Yooil, Isan, and Haewon Industries, including those in charge of 16 tasks and working people participated.
The main contents include the role of the general support organization and introduction of each detailed project, and then through KOMERI’s expert matching, △Establishment of a win-win cooperation network and practical support for each detailed project △Strategy for securing results of onboard demonstration tests and measures to reduce test costs △ Consulting for each project was conducted.
Gong Gil-young, president of KOMERI, said, “The amount of ship orders from domestic shipyards is increasing, but it seems that it will take a little more time for orders to be reflected to equipment companies. Through this, we will actively cooperate to advance into overseas markets including the Russian market.”
