Selected as a smart city pilot city regulatory sandbox project
by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport It announced on the 9th that it has laid the foundation for transforming into a future city through the '(ESC, Explainable Smart City) location-based augmented city service demonstration project'.
This project is a project that demonstrates and commercializes without being bound by various regulations. The government will support 18 projects (11 in Busan and 7 in Sejong) selected through public offerings.
Samwoo Immersion Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Dae-hee), a Busan-based company, will organize a regional industry-academic consortium with Marine Soft (CEO Lee Jae-in) and Dongmyung University (President Jung Hong-seop) to design a comprehensive detailed project in cooperation with Nam-gu.
With this project, you can view Korea’s modern and contemporary peace history contents near major tourist destinations such as the UN Peace Park and museums, and you can view major tourism information, including various performances and exhibition information, near performance halls around Gyeongseong University and Pukyong University.
It is expected to contribute to the revitalization of tourism and the economy of the region by designing the city to experience the future city by showing the operation of the first wireless tram in Korea.
Park Jae-beom, Mayor of Nam-gu, said, “We will actively support the design of city information in the past, present, and future in the Nam-gu area centered on the UN Special Zone for Peace and Culture so that it can be explained with augmented reality.”
