For companies in the growth stage, an IPO is a crucial opportunity to increase corporate value and serve as a window for capital funding.
However, the reality for the absolute majority of local companies is not easy.
This is because the securities firms, accounting firms, and investors that manage listings are all concentrated in Seoul and the metropolitan area.
"Over the last 5 years, out of 702 newly listed companies nationwide, only 9 were Busan companies."
Efforts to overcome regional limitations have begun for the first time.
