Meister High School is defined as a high school tailored to industrial needs. Specifically, it refers to a school that provides customized professional vocational education linked to the needs of specialized industries. Meister High School is an employment training center that trains students.
'Incheon Maritime High School' is a meister high school and one of the four schools in the country that trains marine engineers. Also, since it is the only 'national' school in Incheon, it can be said that the symbolism and rarity of the school are unique. As it is a school that trains seamen, education in maritime affairs is centered around ports and oceans. It is a school that provides industrial education most closely related to the industrial characteristics and identity of Incheon, one of the cities closest to the sea.
The National Meister High School, which is one of the few in Korea, has the characteristic of not studying only at the desk, as the education of maritime accidents is divided into two departments, the sea-related navigation department and the ship engine department. Classes are being conducted with the goal of providing an environment where students can have their dreams because the main focus is 'experience-type' education, such as going out on a voyage in a practice car and conducting simulation exercises using VR, etc.
In the case of the Incheon Maritime Accident, based on the contents of Samwoo Immersion, we provided an educational environment to learn how to respond to a fire, how to perform tasks for each situation, and repeatedly master various fire suppression procedures. Familiarity content that can be used is also included.
