Busan Catholic Hybrid Chamber
Construction case

'Future-type Campus' offers both face-to-face and face-to-face lectures

An ultra-realistic XR studio covering AR / VR / AI technology!

Through this project, Busan Catholic University has begun building a "future campus" that can actively realize interactive communication between students and professors.
The hybrid classroom is equipped with equipment to conduct real-time online video lectures at the same time as face-to-face classes, and a hybrid classroom is built that automatically captures the professor's movement during the lecture, moves left and right, and films the filmed video through real-time online lectures.

In addition, the "ultra-realistic XR Studio," which combines augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, is designed to enable students to learn self-directedly, and to enable repetitive and systematic job training without any restrictions such as time and place in virtual spaces such as life safety/disaster safety/nursing job training.

VR Solutions

[ 1 ] Typhoon alert! Indoor preparation!

  • Running time: approximately 4 minutes
  • Place: Living room of apartment
  • Scenario: The experiencer listens to typhoon warnings at home, moves dangerous items into the house, and then closes the windows to secure the door frame tightly. Then, choose appropriate items and prepare an evacuation bag.

[ 2 ] Typhoon alert! Safe evacuation!

  • Running time: approximately 3 minutes
  • Location: Outdoor
  • Scenario: The sky is cloudy and the rain and wind are strong. Experienced people move around frequently to avoid flooded areas. Pass carefully near the construction site, be careful of falling objects and electric shock accidents, and succeed in safe evacuation.

[ 3 ] Earthquake! Evacuate immediately!

  • Running time: approximately 3 minutes
  • Place: Living room of apartment
  • Scenario: A magnitude 5 earthquake occurs when you are at home. After protecting the experienced person's head and body, when it calms down, cut off gas and electricity, wear proper shoes, prepare evacuation supplies, and escape to the emergency exit

[ 4 ] Earthquake! Safety evacuation!

  • Running time: approximately 3 minutes
  • Location: Outdoor
  • Scenario: An earthquake of magnitude 5 occurs when on the road. The experienced person next to the wall protects his head, moves to a safe distance rather than the wall, and then evacuates to an earthquake outdoor evacuation center (park/school/empty area).

[ 5 ] Fire! Evacuate immediately!

  • Running time: approximately 4 minutes
  • Place: House (apartment)
  • Scenario: If a fire breaks out in an unspecified place inside the apartment and an announcement is made to guide the evacuation immediately, the experienced person escapes to the emergency exit using the correct countermeasures.

[ 6 ] Fire! Fire extinguisher training!

  • Running time: approximately 4 minutes
  • Place: School science room
  • Scenario: A small fire occurs in the school science room when a friend drops a lit alcohol lamp. The experienced person acts as a teacher to extinguish the fire and learn how to properly use a fire extinguisher.

[ 7 ] Escape from the ship! Life-saving equipment!

  • Running time: approximately 4 minutes
  • Location: Passenger ship
  • Scenario: If a fire breaks out in an unspecified place inside the passenger ship and an announcement is made to guide the evacuation immediately, the experienced person escapes using a life preserver using the correct countermeasure.

[ 8 ] Life-saving!

  • Running time: approximately 4 minutes
  • Place: Waterfront (valley)
  • Scenario: Swimmers who enjoy swimming by the water suddenly become embarrassed and cannot come out of the water. The experienced person who discovers this immediately calls 119 and rescues using nearby tools.

[ 9 ] Medical - Physical Therapy: Muscle and Muscle Action

1. Muscle Learning: You can learn information about the muscles that make up the human body and the starting/ending points of those muscles.

[10] Medical - Nursing: High-risk newborns

1. Infection control when new patients are admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit

Infection-related nursing is performed when entering the neonatal intensive care unit.

learning management system

It is a customized program developed to meet the needs of operators by applying an intuitive UI as an integrated control system for efficient operation of the system. It is designed to relieve the difficulty and hassle of controlling each equipment with separate functions by installing programs such as training control monitoring, scenario-specific training mode selection, and integrated power control.
