SWXR Campus, a Center for Nurturing Future Talents, Successfully Concludes Custom Career Lectures and Employability Competency Enhancement Program for Busan Software Meister High School Students
On May 28, SWXR Campus, operated by Samwoo Immersion, hosted an XR and AI-focused corporate developer lecture program tailored for students of Busan Software Meister High School. The special lecture, which ran from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, was attended by approximately 30 students aspiring to become future software experts. It was conducted as a competency-building program designed to help them understand the practical working environment of a next-generation tech enterprise and establish practical employment strategies. Moving beyond a simple company overview, the program was planned as an immersive, on-site mentoring lecture, enabling pre-service developers to grasp the hiring trends of the fast-changing tech industry and firsthand recognize the future value they must possess.

The first session kicked off with an in-depth corporate introduction, covering the entirety of the development firm Samwoo Immersion. Beginning with an overview of Samwoo Immersionโs corporate vision, the lecture specifically detailed the organizational structure of each department within the company and the respective roles of each position. In particular, it shared a comprehensive perspective on industry trends, providing a detailed guide to the actual hiring process, essential qualifications and preferred skills for currently spotlighted roles, and various employee welfare systems.
The subsequent session featured a special lecture on portfolio building strategiesโthe cornerstone of employment successโto ensure maximum student immersion and effective participation. While demonstrating actual portfolio examples utilizing platforms like Notion or PDF formats, students made excellent use of the time through an active Q&A session, addressing realistic hiring questions such as "What more should I prepare to get hired?" and "Around when will this year's job openings be posted?"
During the portfolio session, students had the opportunity to intuitively review successful hire cases and actual application documents. Looking over portfolios that effectively market oneself as a pre-service developer, the session delivered practical, real-world advice, emphasizing: "There is no need to simply list shallow development knowledge when writing a portfolio. This is because the hiring managers conducting the evaluation possess far more experience and deeper knowledge." Along with this, students were shown actual Notion and PDF layout formats to help them focus on the core structure of a project rather than a superficial list of tech stacks, allowing them to intuitively grasp how to build competitiveness and scalability in the job market.
Participating students expressed high satisfaction, with comments such as, "It was truly amazing to see and hear firsthand how an actual IT company's departments are structured and how they conduct their hiring process," and "It was a highly enjoyable and rewarding time because I could visually experience and compare the differences in portfolio writing methods from the perspective of an active field developer, rather than just thinking about it theoretically."
An official from SWXR Campus stated, "This special lecture was prepared to help students of Busan Software Meister High School move beyond the perspective of simply learning technology, and find answers on how to design and prove their own careers using XR and AI as tools." They added, "Moving forward, we will continue our collaboration with specialized educational institutions to expand the horizons of advanced XR and AI technologies and take the lead in nurturing future tech talents."
