SWXR Campus, a Center for Nurturing Future Talents, Reports: "Iโll Keep Trying Until I Succeed!"โฆ Fun VR Job Experiences Ignite Pyeongchon Management High School Students' Will to Enter the Workforce;

On May 28, SWXR Campus, operated by Samwoo Immersion, conducted a competency enhancement camp for students of Pyeongchon Management High School, aimed at exploring diverse career paths and cultivating a desirable employability mindset. The experiential program, which ran from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, was attended by 16 students from Pyeongchon Management High School along with approximately 6 guiding teachers and administrators. It was structured to help students understand the industrial value of next-generation core technologiesโMR, VR, and XRโwhile strengthening specialized job competencies tailored to vocational high school students. Moving beyond simple technology viewing, this program was designed to provide future talents with an opportunity to broaden their professional horizons by directly experiencing the site of technology convergence.

Before diving into the hands-on XR experience, an in-depth theoretical lecture was conducted first, as it is crucial to intuitively understand the clear concepts of each term and the differences between technologies. The lecture covered the definitions of MR, VR, and XR, alongside the developmental history of virtual reality technology. In particular, it highlighted 'overcoming high risks and reducing costs' as the greatest advantages of VR technology in industrial sites. It analyzed actual implementation cases, such as fire evacuation training that safely replicates real fire situations, and substituting VR for semiconductor cleanroom processes that typically require expensive equipment and complicated access procedures. Fascinated by these vivid examples of virtual technology transcending real-world limitations, the participating students showed continuous admiration, high interest, and deep immersion.
Subsequently, in the hands-on experience session, customized practical activities were operated simultaneously by dividing the students into the Department of AI Convergence and the Department of Future Convergence Management to ensure efficient participation aligned with their majors. While the students explored their job aptitudes by directly operating various XR contents, the visiting teachers also spent a meaningful time verifying the feasibility of utilizing virtual convergence technology within educational settings.

The hands-on XR experience provided customized content that satisfied both the participants' spirit of challenge and their career exploration. In particular, students participating in the bakery experience content showed great passion with diverse reactions. A vibrant arena for career exploration unfolded: some passionate students continuously challenged themselves, saying "I want to try one more time" until they succeeded in the virtual mission; others seriously pondered their aptitude after consecutive failures, noting "I don't think a job duty like baking suits me"; while some tenaciously fought to achieve success despite earlier disappointments.
In this manner, the job experience within virtual reality provided students with an opportunity to intuitively and flexibly test their aptitudes without the burden of failure. Furthermore, after completing the XR experiences, students expressed their anticipation, saying, "Disaster-related VR seems like it would be really fun too." Others shared their vivid impressions, stating, "I felt a bit dizzy trying to look closely inside the virtual semiconductor process space by ducking my head in, but it was just that fascinating and realistic."
During the group photo session following the program's conclusion, the camp successfully achieved its objective by deeply motivating and instilling a genuine employability mindset regarding future IT corporate employment. Some students proactively asked questions such as, "What should I prepare if I want to join this company?"
An official from SWXR Campus stated, "This program was prepared to help Pyeongchon Management High School students gain confidence in their career paths by experiencing future technologies firsthand, and design sound professional values." They added, "Moving forward, we will continue our collaboration with specialized educational institutions to expand the horizons of advanced XR and AI technologies and take the lead in nurturing future tech talents."
