SWXR Campus, a Center for Nurturing Future Talents, Captivates All 60 Seyeon High School Students with Robot Soccer and Mini-Drone Flightsโฆ Drawing Attention as a 'Must-Take Course' Boosting Digital Literacy and Creative Inspiration

On July 8, SWXR Campus, a future talent nurturing center operated by Samwoo Immersion, conducted a Physical AI and drone experience program for 3rd-year students of the Webtoon Contents Department and 2nd-year students at Seyeon High School, allowing them to firsthand experience and acquire core future technologies. Backed by a high student participation rate, the training was closely conducted across two separate morning and afternoon sessions, with a total of 60 students vividly experiencing the world of technology bridging the virtual and real worlds.
The program consisted of theoretical overviews and mission-based practical exercises on robotics and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (drone) technologies tailored to the eye level of youth. Crucially, the advanced education at SWXR Campus moves far beyond simple knowledge transfer, helping students develop digital literacy with their five senses through complex new technologies while broadening their horizons toward future careers. For students where creativity is paramount, such as those in the Webtoon Contents Department, the program serves as an excellent cross-disciplinary educational venue, helping them visually and spatially grasp the principles of advanced technology to add fresh ideas to their future project planning and storytelling.
The first session kicked off with education themed around the world of Physical AI and robots. Students engagingly encountered in-depth theory spanning the history of robots, the latest global technology trends, and the future of the robotics industry. In the subsequent practical session, they engaged in 2-on-2 team matches utilizing soccer robots embedded with radio frequency control technology. Even students who were initially clumsy with the controls began maneuvering the robots skillfully over time. Eventually, the focus and energy in the classroom reached a peak as students captured their peers' brilliant plays with their smartphone cameras and cheered them on enthusiastically.
The second session transitioned into training for drones (UAVs), which have recently been utilized as critical infrastructure across various industries. After learning about the flight principles of drones and diverse industry-specific use cases, students engaged in full-scale flight practice by directly piloting mini-drones through a precision ring obstacle course set up inside the training venue.
The flight training area added vitality with unique episodes displaying the students' diverse personalities. Many students burned with concentration to complete the mission of passing through the rings or to receive rewards given for winning the robot soccer tournament. A student who already had experience handling mini-drones at home showed off proficient piloting skills, catching the attention of classmates. Even students who initially struggled by rushing their controls slowly relearned the manipulation methods under the instructor's coaching and successfully completed the mission, demonstrating great persistence.
The tailored talent cultivation programs at SWXR Campus are rapidly spreading by word of mouth as essential edutech courses across schools. Schools can gift advanced future-oriented education to their students without the burden of securing expensive high-tech equipment or professional instructors, while students gain valuable experiences that crystallize their career directions. In particular, the specialized semiconductor engineering and manufacturing process experience trainingโwhich is currently driving a nationwide talent development boomโis proving massive interest, with an influx of group registration inquiries pouring in from schools of all levels and educational institutions.
An official from SWXR Campus stated, "Thanks to the high focus and passion demonstrated by the students of Seyeon High School, all sessions were safely and rewardingly completed." The official added, "SWXR Campus regularly operates a variety of student-led convergence programs, including Physical AI, drones, and recently high-demand specialized semiconductor courses, alongside VR and MR, to help youth grow into main protagonists of future industries. We look forward to the interest and participation of many schools and institutions."
