GAIA Alliance (P.A.T.H. Alliance)’ organized by the Catholic University of Korea's RISE Business Unit and AI/Big Data Center, presenting a blueprint for fostering future talent based on its 2026 new business model, 'NEXUS-X LBVR'.
Samwoo Immersion attended the ‘CUK-GAIA Alliance Launch Ceremony’ held at the Champagne Hall of Novotel Ambassador Suwon on February 10 at 3 PM. This ceremony marked the full-scale operation of the ‘Regional-Industrial-Academic Win-Win Model,’ aiming to successfully establish Gyeonggi-do's Regional Innovation System & Education (RISE) project and solve regional industrial challenges by combining university research capabilities with corporate technology.
■ 2026 Strategic BM ‘NEXUS-X LBVR’ Becomes the Heart of P.A.T.H. Strategy
Starting with this Alliance participation, Samwoo Immersion is fully introducing its 2026 new business model, ‘NEXUS-X LBVR (Location-Based Virtual Reality)’, to the educational field. NEXUS-X LBVR is a high-precision spatial-based virtual reality platform where multiple users can simultaneously access and interact in a specific space, providing a practical cooperative training environment that goes beyond the limitations of existing personal VR education.
This is expected to act as the most critical driving force in building the ‘Habitat’ of the Alliance's core strategy, ‘P.A.T.H. (Pioneering AI Talent Habitat).’ Within the NEXUS-X platform, students will share a virtual space implemented identically to actual industrial sites and maximize their practical capabilities by performing team-based problem-solving projects.
■ Aiming to Foster Practical AI Talent from AI Utilization to AI Development
Samwoo Immersion conducts various XR-based educational programs through SWXR CAMPUS. In particular, it has acquired the title of 'Unreal Engine Authorized Training Partner' in the Unreal Engine education sector, providing highly reliable and quality education.
UATC (Unreal Authorized Training Center) : An Unreal Engine authorized educational institution audited and
certified by Epic Games HQ in the US. There are currently 8 institutions in Korea certified after over 6 months
of screening, and Samwoo Immersion SWXR CAMPUS was the first development company in Korea to acquire this.
User-Tailored Private-Led Talent Cultivation : SWXR CAMPUS cultivates talent capable of performing in the
field immediately upon hiring, focusing on practical application skills.
Samwoo Immersion SWXR CAMPUS plans to foster AI development talent and practical AI utilization skills

■ From Lifecycle-Tailored Education to Corporate-Linked Hackathons

Youth Track: By combining ‘Cooring Virtual Convergence AI Coding Adventure’ with NEXUS-X experiential content,
we provide an environment where elementary, middle, and high school students can joyfully
develop computational thinking skills like playing a game.
Uni Track: We operate an upgraded ‘XR Immersive Job Training’ for university students using the NEXUS-X LBVR
system. Through this, non-IT students can also practically experience actual process management or data analysis
processes in a virtual space, increasing AX (AI Transformation) productivity.
Additionally, as a technical advisory partner for the ‘Regional-Industrial-Academic Linked Problem Solving Program’, Samwoo Immersion plans to bridge the gap so that ideas derived by students can be applied to actual industrial sites through NEXUS-X based prototype production support.
■ Presenting a New Standard for Regional-Industrial-Academic Shared Growth
A Samwoo Immersion official emphasized, “We will cultivate talent optimized for Gyeonggi-do's G7 future growth industries such as Bio, AI · Big Data, and Digital Transformation through close cooperation with Catholic University's CUK-GAIA Specialized Center,” adding, “In particular, the training data precisely collected through NEXUS-X LBVR will be utilized as a key dataset to enhance the objectivity of AI capability assessment models.”
On this day, the adoption of a joint declaration to practice the core values of the Gyeonggi-do RISE project—‘Openness · Connection · Expansion · Reinforcement’—also took place. Samwoo Immersion plans to solidify its position as a hub for AI and XR education representing the southwestern region of Gyeonggi-do even after the RISE project, through continuous technical advice and hackathon hosting support.
Samwoo Immersion CEO David Kim expressed his ambition, stating, “This Alliance with Catholic University will be the most ideal model where the company's latest BM is immediately reflected in the educational field to foster practical talent,” and “We will spare no support so that Samwoo Immersion's NEXUS-X LBVR technology can become a solid ‘P.A.T.H.’ for talents leading the global market beyond Gyeonggi-do.”
