CityGML

Introduction of CityGML technology to realistically simulate
the size of surrounding buildings and skyline

CityGML

By using land-based data (shp) built by integrating building ledger property information of building spatial information and building administration system into building units, 3D shapes suitable for properties such as geometry, topology, semantics and appearance (appearance), etc. were expressed.

In other words, shp data can be automatically created in 3D shape according to the area shape of the actual building, the height of the building, the latitude and longitude coordinates of the building and road, and the purpose of the building.

Crafting the Terrain

For realistic monitoring, not only the shape of the city, but also the height of the terrain around the building were produced similarly to reality.

In the process of converting DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data into a 3D shape, it is important to measure the coordinate system values of the data and the highest and lowest heights of the normalized elevation data as the actual elevation span. In addition, in order to accurately align CityGML data on topographical features, we used a technology that corrects shp data three-dimensionally and a function that automatically checks the height of the terrain and places it in an appropriate location for CityGML data in building units.

Precise Modeling

For simulation of fire, drainage, piping, etc., the shape and equipment of the building must be produced in a realistic structure.

In particular, there is a limit to individually measuring and recording the shape and location information of all objects in order to implement equipment and items that do not appear in the drawings in reality. Therefore, 3D scanning data derived from cloud points can be produced based on polygons to enable fast and accurate work.
